Overview
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up, managing, and maintaining Azure cloud environments, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and databases.
- Support the deployment of cloud-based solutions and services.
- Monitor Azure resources to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Optimize cloud usage to reduce expenses and improve scalability.
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Automate deployments and updates using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Terraform.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining Azure security features, such as identity management, role-based access control (RBAC), and network security groups (NSGs).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and cloud governance standards.
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for cloud-related issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve more complex problems.
- Stay updated on new Azure services and best practices.
- Participate in training and certifications to enhance cloud expertise.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of cloud resources, configurations, and workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Azure services.
Familiarity with tools like Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
